1926 Walter Johnson Letter
Plain and simple, this letter from legendary hurler Walter Johnson to someone named James R. Bush in Asheville, NC reads: "Dear Mr. Bush, I appreciate your kind letter, and want to thank you for the editorial. Sincerely yours, Walter Johnson." There's a small tear and a couple of burn marks on the letter, which was purchased at an estate sale in Eastman, GA around 10 or so years ago. It was found inside an old University of Georgia yearbook that the consignor did not discover until he got home.
