1927 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball
The 1927 Dodgers will never be confused for the 1927 Yankees, but this ball, signed by 25 members of that 65-88 team, is a very nice item with no toning and a grade of EX-MT. The official National League (Heydler) baseball features signatures in black fountain ink, many of which are faded but average 5/10 in strength. Among the notable big names are Dazzy Vance, Otto Miller and Max Carey. In 1927, the team nickname was officially the Robins, but the fans continued to affectionately refer to them as the Dodgers and Trolley-Dodgers.
