1927 Lucky Strike Trolley Signs Complete Set of 5

1927 Lucky Strike Trolley Signs Complete Set of 5

Great set of dandy Lucky Strike trolley signs from that wonderful year of '27 sport delicious green backgrounds. Full set includes "Tony Lazzeri New York Yankees Star Infielder," Lloyd Waner “Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Sensation 1927,” Paul Waner “Voted N.L. Most Valuable Player 1927,” Bob “Lefty Grove” Philadelphia Athletics Star Pitcher,” and Harry Heilmann “Detroit Tigers World’s Leading Batter.” All boast an image of the player in the center, the familiar red and white circular Lucky Strike logo on the left and a quote from the player on the right (e.g., "Luckies fine flavor is enjoyable and they never cut my wind," from Lloyd Waner) above an orange "The Cream of the Crop". Signs are 11 x 20" and show considerable damage from their trolley journeys, which add to their vintage nature, but they're sturdy and tough mementos. We trust you won't cut your wind.
