1927 Unpublished Bustin' Babe's Larrupin Lou's Photograph
This curious lot is crudely ghost-signed by both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig (badly), but these are not fake signatures. Rather, they were done in more modern times, likely as more of a prank. It is signed "To Paul H a real guy - Louisville Ky. - 1931 Lou Gehrig B. Ruth" and again by Ruth at the bottom, with a blind stamp Fischer Photographers Louisville and on the back. The condition is fair with repaired tears, a center crease, repaired border and tape, but the image is fine. Measures 8x10".
