1928 Baseball Trophy Presented to Mankato Champions Minnesota State Baseball Association
This large trophy measures 27" tall and 11" wide. The pitcher who rests on top of the trophy does not bear any stamping on the inside. The pitcher's left foot has made an indentation on the top of the removable bell-shaped cover. The inside of the bottom of the base is stamped with the manufacturer and "V9342". The trophy is engraved with, "Presented by St. Paul Dispatch - Pioneer Press to Mankato Champions, Minnesota State Baseball Association 1928". In 1928 the champs of the trophy were St. Paul John de Parcq, who also won the year before in 1927. The most recent champs were the Rochester Patriots in 2009.
