1929 Arthur Sharkey World Championship Year Signed Philadelphia Athletics Contract
<span style="line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefefe; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; color: #0a0a0a;">Four-page contract dated March 28, 1929, between Arthur Sharkey and the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia. Sharkey signed in black fountain pen (9/10) with A's Vice President John Shibe signing in blue ink (9/10). Sharkey would unfortunately not play for the A's this momentous year. However, due to the date of the contract, this is a rare piece of sports memorabilia. The contract has some minor paper chipping on the back page and some horizontal fold creases. However, it is in overall NRMT condition. </span>
