The fine details are too numerous to list, from the embossed white elephant on the cover to the tassle in team colors to the pages of historic text inside. “Testimonial Dinner To the members of the American League Baseball Club of Philadelphia, ‘The Athletics,’ In Honor of their Great Victory in winning the World’s Baseball Championship of 1929...” Players listed inside as guests of honor. Speakers included the mayor of Philly. What a thrill to read. And the condition? The lightest toning on the cover make us hesitant to call it NRMT, but any other grade would be an insult. It’s amazing.
