1930's Old Gold Baseball Advertising Sign
In the 1930’s it was fashionable to equate cigarettes with sports, especially baseball, as is clearly expressed here in this 46x34 ad for Old Gold. As it states “America’s Smoothest - Not a Cough in a Carload.” Cardboard die-cut advertising sign has some water damage on the bottom quarter portion. The top three quarters of the sign appears NRMT.
