1930 Barney Dreyfuss Signed Letter
Typewritten letter on Pittsburgh Athletic Company letterhead dated December 20, 1930 to Pirates player Henry Meine, with regard to Meine's application for reinstatement to the National League's active players list following surgery. The letter is signed at the bottom by the team owner, Hall of Famer Barney Dreyfuss, in 9/10 black fountain ink. Overall, letter is EX-MT but for the typical mailing folds. Tough signature to find from Dreyfuss, a newly-elected member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
