The stern visage of Kenesaw Mountain Landis jumps off the page in this signed photograph given to famed ballpark concessions purveyor Harry M. Stevens. Landis' demeanor in the photo is certainly true to his tenure as Commissioner of Baseball in the early 20th century, as he ruled the game with an iron fist. The photo is personalized, "With my hearty good wishes," and dated "Nov 21, 1930." It is in NM condition with no scratches or creases and has been framed to 11x13". There is a photographer's mark on the bottom right, and imperfect ink flow has left a few turns of the pen to be white scratches in the emulsion. Includes PSA LOA.
