1930s-40s Seabiscuit Christmas Cards from Owner Charles E. Howard (9)
The largest collection we have seen of the classic Xmas cards given out regularly and selectively by Charles E. Howard, the legendary owner who believed and helped to make Seabiscuit one of the finest in history. There are nine cards here total, all from the 1930s-40s. Of those, six picture Seabiscuit, one Kayak II, one Aloha and one the Stallion Barn. All with real photos on each card which makes these truly special. Some creasing on corners and some spotting, otherwise VG-EX. Plus, comes with an 8x10" photo of "Sea Horde." Fresh to the market, these were all sent to the same family by the immortal owner of 'Biscuit.
