1930s Bendix Radio Die-Cut Advertising Sign with Cut-Outs
In this vintage late '30s ad the Bendix Aircraft Corporation of Baltimore hawked its line of radios with a patriotic theme that included warplanes (which they built for the government) and mock 3-D cutouts of airmen in various military dress against a yellow backdrop. The ad reads "Plan Now to Welcome Him Back with a Bendix Radio" and offers the cutouts to kids "free for the asking." 18 x 26" cardboard sign EX with minor damage at upper left corner. Includes an uncut sheet of the cutout figures.
