1930s Burlesque Theater Glass Ticket Takers Window
Absolutely magnificent glass window came from a ticket takers booth at a Burlesque Theater in the State of Pennsylvania. Exotic piece shows a reverse-painting-on-glass image of a sultry reclining woman in the style of glamour artist extraordinaire Alberto Vargas. She is surrounded by marvelous designs deeply etched in the glass and she herself is concave to her figural image. Best of all is the red bakelite speaker that the ticket taker used as a mouthpiece to speak to the patrons. Amazing piece is in EX-MT condition and has been lovingly framed to preserve it. Should be used to set into a wall and well worth the expense. 31x28x and glass is nearly one-half inch thick.
