1930s Eddie Shore Single-Signed Baseball - Only Known Example (PSA)

1930s Eddie Shore Single-Signed Baseball - Only Known Example (PSA)

Rare autographed baseball is single-signed by Hockey Hall of Famer Eddie Shore. Though autographs from the Boston Bruins star of the 1930s are available, this is the only one we have seen on a baseball. Apparently unaccustomed to the tradition of signing on the sweet spot, Shore has signed just to the right of the main stamp on this Official American League (Harridge) ball in black fountain ink, with personalization, "To George (illegible)." Signature rates 5-6/10, ball remains in very nice condition. Ball itself dates to 1934-1939. PSA LOA.
