1930s Popeye Soaps in Box
About fifty soaps in the original cardboard carton, intended to be sold individually in 1930s Holland. Soap is a blue concentrated powder, for washing clothes. Each is held in a linen bag, tied with a string and wrapped in a Popeye paper label that reads "Popeye's Zakje Blauw." A similar but larger label is on the box itself. This is very rare Popeye piece, as we have never seen it before. Each soap is 2 1/2" and NRMT. Box is EX; label is torn.
