1931 and 1932 St. Louis Cardinals Team-Signed Baseballs
With a stellar, 101-53 record, the 1931 St. Louis Cardinals ran away with the National League pennant by 13 games. Between Chick Hafey and Jim Bottomley's bats, and a deep, dynamic pitching staff, the Cards were able to outlast the Philadelphia A's in a tight, seven-game series to win the Fall Classic, and these two official National League baseballs are terrific artifacts from that season. The 1931 ball is EX and features 16 signatures, some of which have been traced over (Bottomley is a clubhouse version). The 1932 ball is in VG condition and the 16 ink signatures average 5-6/10. Keys are Jesse Haines, Pepper Martin, "Ducky" Medwick, "Dizzy" Dean and Bottomley.
