1931 Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs Team-Signed Index Card Sheets (PSA)
Pair of team-signed sheets featuring, respectively, the 1931 Chicago Cubs and 1931 Cleveland Indians. Each team sheet is in the form of two multi-signed lined index cards mounted (by means of photo corners) upon an album page, which also displays magazine cutouts of several players, all of whom are identified by hand. Each sheet is dated "August - 1931" in the upper left corner. Chicago Cubs (12 signatures). The following seven are clubhouse: Hartnett, Schalk (coach), English, <span style="font-size: 13px;">Taylor, O'Leary (coach), Baecht, and May. Following are authentic: </span>Grimm, Malone, Blair, Hemsley, Bell. Cleveland Indians (17 signatures): Averill, Peckinpaugh (Mgr.), Shanks (coach), Hodapp, Falk, Myatt, Burnett, Harder, Brown, Morgan, Porter, Connally, Jamieson, Kamm, Vosmik, Hudlin, and one other (illegible). All the signatures are scripted in either blue or black fountain pen and average 8/10 in grade. The sheets each measure approximately 9x12" and show evidence of having been removed from their original album. Full LOA from PSA for each.
