1931 Howie Morenz CCM Advertising Display

More commonly known as "Mitchell Meteor," Howie Morenz is universally recognized as the NHL's first superstar and was a member of a Stanley Cup winning team three times, all with the Canadiens. Featured on this early 1930s advertising piece, Morenz is in full uniform surrounded by the words, "Howie Morenz - Les Canadiens - Montreal - Leading Scorer - NHL 1930-31." Made of heavy cardboard with easel back this rarity stands 14" tall and presents in VG condition overall. "CCM" has been removed from the bottom; pinhole and edge wear noticed.
