1931 Pittsburgh Pirates Team-Signed Index Card Sheet (PSA)
Team sheet featuring the signatures of twenty-four members of the 1931 Pittsburgh Pirates. The sheet is in the form of two multi-signed lined index cards mounted (by means of photo corners) upon an album page, which also displays magazine cutouts of several players, all of whom are identified by hand. The signatures displayed here are those of L. Waner, P. Waner, Traynor, Ens (Mgr.), Swetonic, Spencer, Kremer, French, Grantham, Suhr, Brame, Meine, Thevenow, Groskloss, Jensen, Wood, Comorosky, Osborn, Grace, Crandall (coach), Phillips, Mosolf, Sankey, and the team doctor. All the signatures are scripted in black fountain pen and average 8/10 in grade. The sheet measures 8.5x10.75" and shows evidence of having been trimmed after being removed from its original album.
