1932 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball From The Tony Lazzeri Estate
From the year Babe Ruth called his shot and fellow Hall of Famer Tony Lazzeri hit for the cycle, this high-grade ball from the 1932 World Champion Yankees comes from the collection of Lazzeri, who personally owned this spectacular baseball and comes with a letter from Lazzeri's son. The official American League (Harridge) baseball with red and blue stitches grades EX-MT to NRMT with strong stampings. It was signed by 20 Yankees with signatures ranging from 6-to-9 out of 10 in black fountain ink. The best of the lot is a beautiful, large Babe Ruth signature on the sweet spot that rates 8.5/10. Gehrig, Gomez, Lazzeri, Dickey, Ruffing, Combs, Pennock, Sewell, Crosetti and more are also evident. This is one of the cleanest and nicest 1932 balls on the planet and comes with PSA and LOA. The Yankees went 107-47 to run away with the American League pennant that season, then swept the Chicago Cubs in the World Series.
