Held in the midst of the Great Depression, the 1932 Summer Olympics games provided a much-needed distraction and was the first ever held in the United States. In fact, Los Angeles was the only city to bid for the 10th Olympiad, which saw fewer participants then normal due to the global economic woes. This great package for fans of the World Games includes five track and field tickets (in NRMT condition), an Olympic Map, three programs (in EXMT condition) as well as ticket information. Some of the items show fading due to age, and the Official Games program actually has many results written in pencil by the owner, who was clearly a big fan, but these items are in remarkable shape and a great reminder of the earlier days of the Games.
