Royal blue sweater is a beautiful keepsake from the 1932 Olympics. These Games of the X Olympiad took place during the Great Depression in America. Nevertheless, 37 nations participated for a combined total of 1,408 athletes, 127 of which were female. Joe Fitzgerald wore this jersey and has definite game use. Embroidered crest on the front of the sweater is adorned with the colors of the American flag and the 5 Olympic rings. The verso bears the number “15” in red on white felt numbers. Overall the sweater is in gorgeous condition with almost no wear to the sewn on numbers and patch. There are some holes scattered about from use and being hung somewhere.
