1932 Yankees vs Cubs World Series Program
Yankees vs. Cubs World Series baseball program book from the 1932 match-up. This is the Yankee Stadium version. It is neatly scored in pencil. Overall this piece is in EX-MT condition with only a 1/8" split on the spine and 1/8" tear and crease on the lower right cover page. It is 24 pages and 9 1/4" x 11" in size. The Yanks swept the Cubs in four games during this series filled with "bench jockeying" bad blood . This series is noted in history for Babe Ruth's "called shot" which occured in the top of the fifth inning in game three at Wrigley Field. This legendary Ruth home run was estimated to have been hit nearly 500 feet.
