1933 Hal Finney Pittsburgh Pirates Contract w/John Heydler
Stamped, February 7, 1933 contract between Hal Finney and the Pittsburgh Athletic Company operating the Pittsburgh Baseball Club. The contract is signed by Finney inside in sharp black ink (9/10), President of the Pittsburgh Pirates William E. Benswanger (9/10) and league president, John Heydler in black ink (8.5/10). Finney held the distinction of having held the record for the most at bats without a hit (0-35) until pitcher Jason Bergman passed him in 2008. Contract has horizontal fold creases and very slight yellowing o/w NRMT.
