The certificate certifies that "Bill Rodgers" is owner of seventy-five shares of Common Capital Stock of the Kansas City Baseball Club, Inc. Also signed by the President of the club and Bill Rodgers on the reverse. Marked "Cancelled" in black fountain pen vertically on the front of the certificate.Tris Speaker was manager of the Kansas City Blues during the 1930s, during which time he also enjoyed minority ownership of the club.
