1933 R142 Goudey "Soldier Boys" Complete Set Uncut Sheet (24)
This colorful ‘Soldier Boys’ set was issued in 1933 with Goudey's Soldier Boy Chewing Gum. The 24-card set features "Colorful, thrilling pictures of Soldiers and Flags of All Nations." As tough as this set is to find as a complete set, offered is a complete set in 24-card uncut sheet format, which is perhaps the rarest and most ideal form possible. This is a complete final process sheet with backs fully printed. The sheet, while technically in only poor condition with multiple creases, pinholes, damaged corners and a 2” tear at the top center, still displays bold, clear colors and would present beautifully when properly matted and framed. A rare and beautiful throwback from Goudey’s glory days!
