Since the All Star Game was played in Detroit that year, there are several Tigers players on the ball as well. Signatures include Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby, Mickey Cochrane, Red Ruffing, Earl Averill, Frankie Frisch, Lefty Grove, Heinie Manush, Bill Dickey, Schoolboy Rowe, Bill Rogell, Goose Goslin, Ben Chapman, Charlie Gehringer, Rick Ferrell, Pinky Higgins, Ed Rommel, Bucky Harris, Tom Bridges, Joe Cronin, Sam West, Mel Harder, Lefty Gomez and more. The ball has a light coat of shellack. Signatures range in grade from 3-8 on a scale of 1-10, with most averaging 6/10. Foxx grades an 8/10, while Ruth grades 6/10. This is a tough ball to find in any condition.
