1934 Johnny Gottselig Chicago Blackhawks Team Jacket Presented for Winning Stanley Cup

1934 Johnny Gottselig Chicago Blackhawks Team Jacket Presented for Winning Stanley Cup

Amazing "Original 6" artifact in this 1934 Chicago Black Hawks team jacket presented to forward Johnny Gottselig. Stunning leather jacket is black and white with amber-colored buttons, with circular black-and-white Black Hawks logo on left breast, British/Canadian and American flag logos are on right and left pockets respectively. Alex Taylor and Co. tag is in the collar. Clearly Gottselig proudly and frequently wore this jacket as it displays extensive use throughout, including some tears and sweat stains to the lining, at least two and possibly more buttons appearing to have been replaced, and just a great overall well-worn look. A native of Odessa, Ukraine, Gottselig netted 16 goals in 1933-34, the first of two times he was able to lift Lord Stanley's Cup along with his Black Hawks teammates.
