Uncut sheet of nine 1934 Tarzan ice cream cup premium signs, three different images, all with the most magnificent and intricate, brilliant full-color lithography . This is comic art at its absolute best. The cardboard sign says "Save the lids for valuable new prizes". After turning in twelve Tarzan ice cream cup lids, the children would receive one of 12 Big Little Books published by Whitman. After tearing the back page from the Big Little Books, kids could receive one of five "grand prizes:"such as beautiful pearl-handled four-blade scout knife with Tarzan's picture on both sides. As this was the Deprssion era, this must have been every kids dream, to win one of those grand prizes. The uncut sheet has some edge tears but the signs themselves are free from flaws. Overall EX+ measures 38x45".
