1935 Honus Wagner Signed Letter to Max Carey (JSA)
Interesting typewritten letter measuring 8.5x7.5", signed in flowing steel-tip fountain pen by the legendary Honus Wagner. A precursor to today‚s sports camps, Wagner writes to Hall of Famer "Mr. Max ‚Scoops‚ Carey" noting that, "I have a number of youngsters who have been asking me about a Base Ball School (sic) and what it would cost for a term, what the chances are for getting up and so on." On Honus Wagner Co. Sporting Goods stationery, the page has some yellowing at the edges, typical mailing folds, perforations at the top corners (for placement in a binder of some sort), and white marks on the top corners of the verso, possibly from mounting in a scrapbook. Wagner‚s signature is 8/10, great content between two major figures in baseball history. Comes with JSA LOA.
