1936 New York Yankees World Champions Team-Signed Album Pages w/Gehrig & DiMaggio (PSA)
Pair of autograph album sheets featuring the signatures of twenty-three members of the 1936 World Champion New York Yankees, including Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, and four other Hall of Famers. One sheet displays the signatures of Gehrig (grading 9/10), Dickey, Lazzeri, Saltzgaver, Malone, Hadley, Rolfe, Hoag, Brown, and Kleinhaus. The second sheet features the signatures of DiMaggio, Gomez, Ruffing, Crosetti, Glenn, Jorgens, Johnson, Broaca, Chapman, Pearson, Heffner, Jorgens, and Selkirk. The signatures are all boldly scripted in black fountain pen and grade 8/10 on average. 1936 marked the first of a then-record four consecutive World Championships for the Yankees and also Joe DiMaggio's rookie season. Each sheet (4.5x6") displays three notebook holes along the top. One sheet displays a small tear to the middle hole, while the other has "NY AL '36" written in pencil near the upper left corner. Excellent condition overall. Full individual LOA from PSA for each sheet.
