Classic image of the NL Champion NY Giants pitching staff. Pictured are Gumbert, Smith, Fitzsimmons, Gabler, Schumacher, Coffman, Castleman and last, but certainly not least, King Carl Hubbell. Note the scowl on Hubbell’s face. He was, of course, getting the ball in Game 1 of the World Series against Gehrig, DiMaggio and company. Image is 7 x 11 and is NM in condition, clarity and contrast.
