1936 Olympic Cast Iron Ornament From Train Station
Straight from a train station in Berlin during the height of Nazi Germany, this 13" x 14.5" cast iron decoration with rusty old patina was used to promote the 1936 Olympics. Found in Bulgaria, the adornment weighs over 14 pounds and includes holes, which are convenient to hanging. The words "1936 IX OLYPIADE BERLIN" appear on the surface, as well as the Olympic logo.
