1937 Gum Inc. Horrors of War Folder/Box - Only One Known
This interesting Horrors of War package originally held 12 packs of cards and was distributed as a promo to insiders and dealers. This promo package appears to be from Western Union and reads, "War Declared Against Recession!" and "Biggest Penny Success Of All Time Is Profiting Thousands Of Dealers!" This heavy cardboard package was opened years ago for the free trial packs inside but is in remarkably good condition and still has its original tape that once kept the packs from falling out. Interesting piece for the Non-Sports Collector. From the Fleer Archive created by Fleer to keep track of what the competition was working on. We're not sure how they even got such an interesting example of packaging.
