1938-39 Bruins Stanley Cup Champions Photo
A fantastic 9x14" photo of the 1938-1939 Stanley Cup winning Boston Bruins. 16 different Bruins are featured here in full-gear. The thin backing paper on the verso of the frame has a handwritten lineup of players featured in the photo, such as Roy Conacher, Bill Cowley, "Dit" Clapper, Milt Schmidt, Bobby Bauer, Woody "Porky" Dumart, "Sudden Death" Mel Hill, Gordon Pettinger, Flash Hollett, Frank Brimsek, and more. The Bruins lost in the 1937 Stanley Cup Finals to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but would return to the Finals in '38 to exact revenge on the Leafs and win the series 4-1.
