1938 Billy Rogell Detroit Tigers Team-Signed Bat (PSA)

1938 Billy Rogell Detroit Tigers Team-Signed Bat (PSA)

It was the year that Hank Greenberg swatted 58 home runs and became the American League's first unanimous MVP. The 1938 Detroit Tigers finished in fourth place with an 84-70 record, and their star shortstop - Billy Rogell - used this Hillerich and Bradsby signature model bat that shows light use. It was signed by 30 Tigers players in 7/10 black fountain ink, including All-Stars Greenberg, Gehringer, Walker, White, York, Fox, Auker, Miller, and more. The bat weighs 32 ounces and measures 34". On the handle is written: "To Ray Forsyth from Detroit Tigers Base Ball Club September 19th, 1938." Rogell spent 14 years in the Majors and was also an All-Star that season. Includes PSA LOA.
