1938 Gum Inc. Horrors of War Original Artwork by Charlie Steinbacher (PSA)
Original artwork for early non-sports cards is extremely difficult find and this 1938 Horrors of War original artwork could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Brightly colored and extremely graphic, these cards are known for their brutal and realistic interpretations of warfare in the 1930's. Released shortly before World War II, these cards would soon gain the attention of collectors everywhere. Offered is this original artwork by Charles Steinbacher for card #128. The same size as the cards that were eventually issued, one could say that this "prototype" is the first card #128 in its original form. Graded authentic by PSA.
