1938 Martin Dihigo Signed Typed Letter
Considered the most versatile player in the history of baseball, "El Maestro" played all nine positions skillfully in a number of leagues that spanned the hemisphere. A hero in his native Cuba and a member of no less than three Baseball Halls of Fame. His type written letter, on "Asociacion Deportiva Aguila"" letterhead, is dated "May 31, 1938", and is entirely in Spanish (EX+, with original mailing folds). It is closed with one of the finest autograph specimens we have seen from him to date, a near perfect 9/10 black fountain pen "Martin" signature. A fantastic piece from this international mega-star!
