1938 Saratoga The Alabama Horseshoe Won By "Handcut"

The 1938 Alabama Stakes was won by Handcuff, and this horseshoe from the thoroughbred was made into a Sterling silver ashtray, a tradition popular with well-heeled owners at the time, including Charles Howard, who did the same with Seabiscuit.
