1939 World Series Signed Baseball
This baseball is inscribed "1939 World Series" on the panel in ink, and contains nine signatures of players who participated in the 1939 Fall Classic between the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds. The signatures, which feature both Yankees and Reds players, include Lefty Gomez, Red Ruffing, Paul Derringer, Charlie Keller, Bucky Walters and Ernie Lombardi. The ball shows some chipping and grades 4/5; the signatures grade an overall 5.
