1940's Academy Awards Presentational Watch
Out of this world piece rep-resents the highest award in film. Case is magnificent. Style is that of the Hollywood Bowl shaped like a sym-phonic dome with a 3-D golden figure of the "Oscar" in front. Rimmed in celluloid, the maker's name "Bulova" streams across the front. When the case (5.5x3.25x1.5") is opened, it reveals, again, the look of the Hollywood Bowl, and the watch is set on a bed of soft red very royal looking cloth. Above is an elegant satin back reading, "Academy Award 21 Jewels Bulova" with striking image in gold of the copyrighted Oscar statuette. Pure art deco watch in 14k GF with original brown alligator band is engraved "Eternal Friends Love Debbie." We are not sure which Debbie (Reynolds?). Original "Academy Awards" hanging tag and simply an outstanding piece.
