1940's Joe DiMaggio Signed Game Used Bat (35")
He was one of the game's greatest, but his skill is using a bat was far more acute than his skill in dating them. His NRMT blue sharpie writing on the barrel reads, "Bat used in my early years - 1936 - Joe DiMaggio," but, in fact, the signature model Hillerich & Bradsby D29 dates from about a decade later, when Joltin' Joe had long since reached the status of a legend. Barrel has been masterfully restored, while not detracting at all from the look of fine wear that sets this thrilling lumber atop any discerning collector's wish list.
