1940's Original Magic Show Poster
Original, mesmerizing advertising poster on fine rice paper for an appearance by Professor Alba, a famed Spanish magician of the 1940s. Bold, bright and eye-catching graphics feature an eerie image of the Professor's medium and magic assistant, Yu Li San, her face bathed in blue and green hues as she stares above and beyond toward a mysterious power, perhaps channeling a dearly departed soul. Background is brown with blue stars. Writing on top and bottom translates to "Yu Li San, Professor Alba's Enigmatic Medium." Indeed. Printed in the bottom border is "Graficas Valencia." Poster is "22 wide x 24" tall and VG-EX. It has been rolled and then slightly crushed. Framing and matting would surely make it look perfect in terms of display.
