1940 Jackie Robinson Last UCLA Football Game Ticket Stub PSA GOOD 2 (Pop 1 - Two Higher)

Offered is a ticket stub from Jackie Robinson's last game as a UCLA football star, on Nov. 30, 1940. Maybe Jackie Robinson was secretly a twin, because how can one man do so much, so well? A civil rights pioneer, Robinson is one of the foremost figures in American history. He is a Hall of Fame baseball immortal. But go back to the late 1930s and 1940, when Robinson was in college, already a West Coast legend. At UCLA, Robinson was a 4-letter winner, still the only one in UCLA history. In basketball, Robinson became the Pacific Coast Conference MVP, leading UCLA in scoring as a 5'11" forward. In football, during his second and final college season in 1940, Robinson led the Bruins in rushing, passing, and scoring, and he led the nation in punt returns, the second season in a row. By the way, he also played safety on defense and kicked extra points. In track and field, he was the long jump champ in both the Pacific Coast Conference and the NCAA. Baseball? Robinson hit only .097 in his lone year on the UCLA team. In the pros, he did much better. The ticket is a student or faculty ticket for the season-ending game against USC, UCLA's cross-town rival. Robinson scored a touchdown, but his Bruins lost 28-12. The ticket is encapsulated and graded PSA Good 2. There was only one Jackie Robinson, and this ticket offers an historical connection.
