1940s Broooklyn Dodgers Glass Plate Negatives with Jackie Robinson Rookie (60)
This lot contains a collection original glass plate negatives measuring approximately 3" x 4". Dates range from 1941 to 1949 and some great names are included, though there is some duplication of players. Among this fantastic group of five-dozen images are a great Jackie Robinson rookie shot and another of Jackie from 1948 (chipped). Also includes Medwick, Walker, Vaughn, Owens, Herman, Casey, Furillo, Cox, Branca, Roe, Erskine, and many more. Each comes in its original identifying envelope, and they are in overall EX condition. A unique way of looking back at the heroes who were lovingly known as "Dem Bums."
