1941 Babe Ruth Signed Bank Check to Wife Claire Ruth (PSA NM-MT 8)
Great Babe Ruth signature on this 1941 check. Chemical Bank check number 4950 measures 8.25x3" and the front is filled out entirely in Ruth's hand in flowing black fountain pen. Dated September 27, 1941, and made out to his second wife, Claire Ruth in the amount of $150. Crisply signed GH Ruth on bottom left corner. Back is double endorsed, though the "Claire Ruth" signature remarkably resembles the penmanship of her famous husband. The second marriage for both, Claire and the Bambino were together until his passing in 1948. Encapsulated by PSA with an exceptional NM-MT 8 grade.
