1941 Chicago Bears Advertising Poster with George McAfee
Marvelously evocative 1941 Chicago Bears poster lists that season's home games beside star George McAfee in Rockette-style punting form. Top reads, "Watch Those Bears at Wrigley Field" while a picture of the park overlooking the gridiron is below along with "National Champions", "Buy Tickets at the Hub, State & Jackson", and "Ride the L Direct to Gates, Addison St. Station" at bottom. 14.5 x 22.5" poster radiates with yellow and orange colors and black lettering. G-VG with extensive paper loss around the edges, with the top and bottom right corners torn away and much soiling, yet damage to the main images is scant and the piece presents quite well.
