1942 Comiskey Park Chicago White Sox "EL/Elevated Train" Cardboard Sign
Splendid graphics in this cardboard sign feature an attractive montage of the members of the 1942 Chicago White Sox, including Luke Appling, stars of the team, and scintillating action poses. In heavy stock cardboard, it advertises Chicago's beloved "L" Train which stands for "Elevated" Train, one of the few such train systems known in the United States outside New York. It measures 14x22" and has some soiling at the bottom and two water stains at top, otherwise in EX condition.From the Gus LeDonne collection, legendary football and sports collector who passed away too soon in 2013.
