At left is a typed letter on "U.S. Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Illinois" letterhead, with content regarding an exhibition baseball game involving Cochrane's Navy team. It is signed "Mike" at the close. Photo of Cochrane's squad at right is signed in NRMT ink by each pictured, including Cochrane himself, Schoolboy Rowe and Gene Woodling.
