1946 USC vs. Stanford Original Negatives (35)
36 camera negatives depict marvelous action shots from this major rivalry game played on October 26, 1946. They are in their original envelope from the San Francisco Examiner and obtained right from their archive. The negatives are EX-MT and the envelope is signed by photographer “Burgess.” This was an important game as it was the first game between the two schools in four years. World War II suspended the seasons between 1943-45. Stanford won this battle, 25-6.
